hey, Cyborg, is that you?
"Homeland" is rooted in the flesh-and-blood experiences and perceptions that shape us—the earliest cradle of emotion.
But now, the countless traces we leave across the digital sphere-images, words, habits, even biological rhythms— are collectively sculpting a digitised reflection of the self.
In this vast cybernetic space woven from billions of data points, are we building a new kind of homeland— one without the scent of soil?
At the same time, our understanding of the body is undergoing a profound shift. As technology offers possibilities to re-shape limbs, enhance senses, and even extend consciousness itself, our physical body may no longer remain the sacred, eternal site of the self.As the boundaries of the body stretch toward the digital, how will we-these beings reshaped by technology-redefine who we are, and locate that deep-rooted sense of belongingwithin new modes of existence?
This exhibition is a contemplation of the body and its homeland. It centres on the moment when the foundations of individual existence-the body, experience, and perception-migrate toward the digital realm.
How do we confront the displacement of identityand the struggle between flesh and spirit?
We invite you to step into this liminal dreamscapebetween past, present, and future—to touch the human questions shimmering beneaththe dazzling surface of technology.
