Between homeland and elsewhere… we often find ourselves on a journey of “almost arriving.” —— Home Is a Feeling

Presented by YUNYE Art London, Home Is a Feeling is a group exhibition exploring how cross-cultural experiences shape our sense of belonging. Featuring 20 artists, the exhibition spans painting, textiles, digital media, and installation.

Between homeland and elsewhere, between language, memory, and the present, we often find ourselves on a journey of “almost arriving.” Home is not simply a place, but a feeling—shaped by translation, lived experience, and the shifting emotions of comfort, tension, warmth, and distance.

The exhibition invites audiences to reflect on belonging, encounter one another’s stories, and consider what it means to call somewhere home.

During the exhibition, a participatory painting workshop led by artist Qianchun Ma and curator Yutong Ye will be delivered. The session invites participants to explore questions such as: What is home? How do we define it? And how do we experience the feeling of home within our bodies?
